The Kaikoura township and all other major activities and marine life are all handy with good restaurant and cafes, the arts and crafts scene, golf course, the town centre, local winery, museum and 4WD motorbike rides. The seal colony, one of the most visited points in New Zealand and the beautiful coastal Peninsula walkway are all handy to Austin Heights. Plus you may like to relax and indulge with our local daily fresh fish BBQ on your walk to the seal colony at Jimmy Armours beach which is a short walk from here.

The Coastal View Unit and the Mount Fyffe Unit are situated upstairs.

These are both spacious and sunny units with their own entrances and parking space.
Each of these units opens directly onto a balcony where our guests love to relax and admire the view after their fun-packed day in Kaikoura. These units are very popular for two couples travelling together.
They each have their own kitchenette, fridge, microwave, toaster, cutlery, dishes, jug and tea and coffee facilities. Ensuite showers, toiletries, hair dryers, shampoo/conditioner, bathrobes, towels and facecloths, heated towel rails etc. Complimentary chocolates, biscuits, small beer and wine and fresh flowers provided in each room. The lounge and dining area has table/chairs, sofa, DVD/movies, 32" screen digital TV, stereo/CD player, wireless internet available in each room. Our beds get top marks from our guests for comfort and quality and are fitted with electric blankets and woolrest underlays. All our rooms have double glazing for extra warmth plus all rooms have good heating available.

We have a luxury hydrotherapy 6-seater outdoor spa available for guests to relax in to take all your aches and pains away or to just enjoy our beautiful night sky.

The Garden & Mountain View Apartment

This is a Family apartment situated on the ground level which is self contained with a separate bedroom fitted with a luxury double and a single bed in the bedroom plus there is a double sofabed available when required. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. A private toilet.
Kitchenette has a hotplate, pot, microwave, fridge, toaster, cutlery and dishes etc plus tea/coffee facilities. The dining & lounge area has entertainment provided for the children, books, toys, games etc. Wide-screen TV, stereo/CD player, DVD/movies, wireless internet available.
There is private parking space out front.
Laundry facilities available.

Breakfasts are served in our dining area of our home unless requested otherwise. Then we can deliver it to your room. We serve a generous continental breakfast of fresh fruit salad, four different cereals, yoghurt, toast, spreads, fresh juice, tea/coffee.
We have a cooked menu available at a small extra cost.
We have a complimentary pickup and delivery service to the bus or train with prior notice please.
