Sand Safaris - Kaitaia's longest serving Cape Reinga Tour Business! Following the original Cape Reinga Tour route from either Ahipara or Kaitaia, we travel the full length of the Aupouri Peninsula one way by road and the other via 90 Mile Beach. This relaxed full day Safari Tour has time for various stops along the way and culminates in a breathtaking view of the two vast expanses of water, the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean crashing together as they meet below Cape Reinga Lighthouse. Experience the thrill of driving on 90 Mile Beach, sand boarding at the giant sand dunes of Te Paki, lunch, (which is provided for you), at the picturesque Tapotupotu Bay, and marvel at the white silica sands of Rarawa Beach. To complete the package enjoy a half an hour guided tour of The Gumdiggers Park and Ancient Buried Kauri Forest. Entry fee incl.
