Kawhia's only waterfront accommodation. 12 tent and 9 power sites; 10 cabins sleep 2-5 max. Motel units, 2 fully self-contained cottages (opened late 2003): 1 studio sleeps 2-3; 1x2brm sleeps 2-5. 1brm cottage (opened Nov 2005) sleeps 2-5; 2 new (late 2006) ensuite studio units, block of 2, sleep 2 with tea/coffee/toast making facilities, microwave, sink, fridge, queen size bed, Sky TV. No smoking inside buildings. Camp communal kitchen, fridge/freezers, microwave, dining room, china and cutlery, laundry, linen hire, toilet/shower facilities, trampoline, TV lounge, barbecue area, off-street parking, kayak hire (subject to weather/tide conditions) $10 per person per hour. 2008 new ablution block, laundry and family bathroom. Dump station.
