Things to Do in Lake Brunner

• Moana
  This small town is on the shores of Lake Brunner and offers year-round trout fishing, although the prime season runs from October to April. There are plenty of walks in the vicinity, and the town has a camping grounds and a licensed hotel.
• Valenski Scenic Reserve
  The Arnold River footbridge offers access to this park, with 59ha of native bush, trees and birdlife. The Valenski Walk near the camping grounds leads through beautiful stands of native totara, rimu and kahikatea.
• Moana Kiwi House & Conservation Park
  View kiwi and other wildlife in its natural surroundings, including the white heron (kotuku).
• Kotuku Pottery
  Domestic and sculptural works featuring salt-glazed and coal-fired pottery.
• Brunner Industrial Site
  A collection of historic brickworks and coke ovens.
