With stunning unimpeded ocean views, the site on Te Au Farm was carefully chosen for The Quarters. The fully renovated shearers quarters were relocated to this coastal farm to provide total privacy and comfort for those who want to get away from it all. Single party bookings of 8 people can be accommodated. The queen size bedroom, designer bunk room and living room all open to the large deck and take in the truly panaromic sea vistas. A fully equipped kitchen makes self-catering easy. Cooked crayfish and a loaf of fresh corn bread are provided on arrival. Home cooked meals can also be provided.
Te Au is a 711 hectare sheep and beef farm which includes a 50 hectare bush reserve. There are extensive marked walks with coastal, farm and bush views. The furthest takes you 10km to the river at the back of the farm. Pools are good for swimming and are well stocked with trout. Sea fishing from The Rock is popular.
