Located at the head of the stunning Kawhatau Valley in the Rangitikei district; Ruahine Adventure Horsetreks are part of a 240Ha working farm, running a variety of animals, including the well known Meersbrooke Sport horses & Scottish Highland cattle.

The property also contains Meersbrooke reserve, 41 Ha of protected native forest crisscrossed with riding trails and rich with native flora & fauna. An amazing natural horse riding experience, not to be missed! There are treks to suit all levels of rider, including children, starting with easy 1 & 2 hour rides, through to 2 - 6 day Explorer treks which allow you to really immerse yourself, in rural NZ life. The horses are kind, sure footed & well schooled. The guides are friendly and very experienced.
