This character colonial hotel, which dates back to 1882, was renovated in 1996 and now provides sixteen individually designed rooms. Ten of the rooms open out to the first floor verandah while the six ground floor rooms overlook the rose-filled hotel garden. The rooms combine traditional European elegance with a touch of the Orient, with antique armoires from Rajasthan and porcelain lamps from Hong Kong. Each room has its own bathroom with deep claw-footed bathtub or shower and pedestal basin, fresh white towels and fine quality bed linen.

The Hotel restaurant is known for its superb contemporary classical French techniques and cuisine using the best fresh local produce as well as its extensive wine list. In addition, the Bar is a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike.
