Muritai Manor is an Edwardian colonial home, built in 1903 for the local Archdeacon. Whilst retaining the charm of many original features - spacious rooms, high ceilings, native timber floors and kauri fireplaces - it has been modernised to provide four comfortable in-house guest rooms (all ensuite) with free wireless internet connections. For those wanting more privacy, our Garden Room is separate from the main house and has a spacious sitting area with small kitchen.
Muritai Manor is set in a semi-rural location but is only a few minutes away from Nelson’s buzzing cafe bars and restaurants. In the morning enjoy a delicious breakfast including eggs from our own free-range hens. Spend the day exploring the region’s three National Parks, discovering art galleries and local wineries or simply enjoying our spa pool and solar heated swimming pool.
