Jeanette and Neil welcome guests into our large and comfortable country home, where you are assured of a quiet, relaxing stay. Just 10 minutes north-east of New Plymouth, our homestay is surrounded by deer farm, with beautiful Mount Egmont/Taranaki as a backdrop.
We have secure off-road parking.

Rockvale has two guest rooms, both large and tastefully furnished, with quality bed linen. One room has a queen bed, the other has twin beds, both adjoin the comfortable guest lounge, offering tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, TV, video/DVD player and a private balcony with rural views.

There are two large, modern guest bathrooms, one with a spa bath, and the other with a shower. We also have a spa pool on the downstairs deck, where you can relax and soak under the stars. Your comfort and privacy is our priority, and we host only one guest party at a time. We invite you to join us for dinner in our large living area, with an open fire burning on cool winter nights, or perhaps a barbeque on the deck in summer. Alternately we can help you choose from the numerous restaurants in New Plymouth. Our tariff includes a continental and/or cooked breakfast at your leisure.

There are six 18-hole golf courses within 20 minutes drive from Rockvale. Neil and Jeannette have lived in the area all their lives, and are able to advise you of the many attractions on offer in Taranaki. We warmly welcome you to our home, and will do everything to ensure that your stay with us is a happy one. Families very welcome, and we do have a port-a-cot available.
