The small village of Ngongotaha is located just 8km from the city centre of
Rotorua. Therefore, it is very close to the thermal and adventure attractions of this tourist wonderland. Four of the major trout streams in the area - Hamarana, Awahou, Waiteti and Ngongotaha – are nearby and are excellent spots to spend the day waiting for a good catch.
