Our charming kauri villa offers a colourful cheerful environment and friendly hospitality.

Guest rooms are a good size featuring the old antique, lead light windows, very comfy beds, fresh flowers and yummy Devonport chocolates. Private bathrooms, one with a luxurious claw foot bath, provide soaps and soaks and warm cosy towels and bathrobes.

Breakfasts of fresh fruits and juices, muffins, waffles, croissants, toast or a hearty farmhouse with tea or freshly ground coffee are served on the sunny indoor verandah.

For a rainy day the lounge has TV, books galore, magazines, and games... but in the good weather a short stroll to Cheltenham Beach or North Head is a must and Devonport is a beautiful walk on the waterfront where you can take a ferry to downtown Auckland or Waiheke Island, or stay and savor the delights of the many cafes, restaurants, galleries and shops in the village.

There are many sporting activities in the area, rugby, soccer, cricket, boating, tennis, boules and golf. We are both keen golfers and are happy to arrange your golfing.

Christine, a Yorkshire lass used to teach cookery and has owned a cafe and Pari is Ngati Raukawa Ngati Koriki and Ati Awa descent, a true blue Kiwi with a wealth of New Zealand knowledge.

Tariff: $140-$185 per room per night. Weekly rates negotiable. Visa, MasterCard, cash only.
