Come and share with us our wonderful view of Queen Charlotte Sound. We are located in the heart of the Sounds yet only nine kilometres from the centre of Picton. Should you need it, we offer one free pick up and drop off to the ferry terminal.

A Sea View is nestled among the trees and offers unimpeded, awe-inspiring views of the Queen Charlotte Sounds. Here you will experience the ever-changing moods of the Sounds from the comfort of your rooms or from the deck. From all the rooms, see the tree-clad slopes disappear into the clear turquoise sea, or discover the trees and wildlife of our gardens.

While enjoying the view from the deck, partake of a generous cooked breakfast of bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, home-made jams, yoghurt and bread. If that all sounds a little too much, then settle for the continental breakfast. During your stay, take advantage of some of the activities for which the Marlborough Sounds are world renowned. Cruise out to one of the reserves to see the endangered saddleback or kakariki birds. Swim with the dolphins or kayak around the many secluded bays. Take a day out fishing or for the more adventurous there is great diving. Walking or cycling, the Queen Charlotte track is also a great way to spend a day.

We are only a couple of hours from Kaikoura, Nelson Lakes, Able Tasman and more.

Directions: from High Street in Picton take the Waikawa Bay Road for nine kilometres, continue on for one kilometre past Karaka Point until you see the sign 'Sea View' on your right (about 12-15 minutes from Picton).
