Nature lovers will enjoy the walking trails around Puhoi or hire a canoe and paddle up the Puhoi River for a closer view of the river and the local birdlife. If you feel like a longer excursion, join one of the guided kayaking trips up to nearby Wenderholm Park. Afterwards, you can head to the town's famous colonial pub and relax over a drink.
