Get yourself to Coronet Peak's bike park for an exhilarating summer alpine experience thats fun for the whole family and just a 20 minute drive from Queenstown. Whether you enjoy cruising along or blazing downhill, The Peak has lift served trails to suit riders from novice through to seasoned downhill specialists.
Mountain biking junkies can push themselves to the limit and ride uphill, or take the chair and then navigate the best way down the varied trails ranging from smooth & flowing to tricky & technical.
Families can ride the Coronet Express chairlift to the top to sightsee and take in the stunning views of the Southern Lakes. Experience the state-of-the-art base lodge and enjoy lunch and a glass of wine on the fabulous deck, or have a game of chess whilst you watch your family and friends ride the trails.
Season opens 7th January - 1st March 2009 (excl. public holidays), 11.30am - 7.30pm 6 days (Tuesday - Sunday), weather permitting.
Rental bikes and equipment are available on the hill in conjunction with Outside Sports (adults only).
The mountain biking 2009 season hosts 3 first-class events that will attract riders from around the world:

Tracks will be closed to the riding public throughout the duration of major events but lift served spectator access will be available.
