Night Skiing and First Tracks mean Coronet Peak offers longer on-snow hours than any other ski area in the country. Automated snowmaking capacity has been tripled for 2008 ensuring quality snow over a long season. Exuding passion and quality, Coronet Peak facilities include high speed chairlifts, extensive trails, several eateries, heated deck where skiers and non-skiers enjoy the surroundings, retail, rental and repair, Snowsports School and a licensed Skiwiland Creche. Children 6 years and under receive a free day/night lift pass and discounted rental. Elevation 1649m, 462m vertical. Season: 7 June to October; operating hours: 9am to 4pm. New state-of-the-art base building includes stylish new restaurants and bars, a massive deck and comfortable spaces for ticketing, storage, rental, Snowsports School, medical centre (with doctor) and child care, Snow Shop with a great range of clothing and accessories, Guest Service department for ticketing, enquiries, eftpos and foreign exchange. Heidi's Hut at Rocky Gully offers a range of European cuisine.
