Family Adventures specialist in family/small group trips to the upper reaches of the famous Shotover River. A complete adventure, starting on the historic and spectacular Skippers Road leading to the Shotover Canyon, then winding along the cliff face 100m above the river in places (don’t tell Mum!). A feat of 1860’s engineering.

The adventure continues at 'The Ford of Bruinen' where we get on the water and head down the grade 2 rapids in either guided rafts or our inflatable kayaks. See Gold Mining relics and sheer canyon walls as we navigate the Shotover River, with photo stops, rapid swims and rock jumps.
