All trips begin in calm water with an introduction to the equipment and basic riversurfing techniques. The Chinese Dogleg section is a unique opportunity to float through the 'Pillars of the Kings' from LOTR, swim under the original bungy jump, try surfing for up to 40 mins at NZ's premier riversurfing spot and board down NZ's longest commercial rapid (800m). This is all done at a relaxed pace while travelling through some of the most enchanting scenery to be found in New Zealand. The Roaring Meg, grade 2-3, is a fast flowing, 6km section with lots of whitewater. Once is never enough! So we run this section twice, the only company to bodyboard up to 12km.
