Things to Do in Raglan

• Manu Bay
  Just 8km west of Raglan, this internationally-famous surfing beach is renowned for its left-hand break, which is said to be the longest in the world. Nearby Ngarunui Beach and Whale Bay are also good beaches for surfing.
• Wainui Reserve
  A 140 hectare farm park providing views of Raglan's spectacular coastline and accessing Ngarunui Beach.
• Arts and Crafts Trail
  An opportunity to see artists at work and to view locally-made handcrafts. See the Raglan information centre for details.
• Raglan Museum
  Featuring historic newspapers and personal effects belonging to Maori and European settlers.
• Ruapuke Beach
  A beach popular with beachcombers, surfcasters and experienced surfers, located 18km south-west of Raglan. Be alert for the powerful waves which sweep the southern rocks here. 
• Mount Karioi
  Two one-day tracks lead to the summit (775m) of this extinct volcanic cone, and the steep walk is well worth the climb for the spectacular views of Raglan Harbour and the surf-battered coast. Start at Te Toto Gorge, 12km south of Raglan.
• Tattooed Rocks
  Located 6 kilometres west of Raglan on the coast, these rocks are carved with scroll-type patterns.
• Bridal Veil Falls
  Set in a native bush reserve along scenic Mata Road, 20km south of Raglan, this 55 metre cascade has viewing points from both the top and base of the falls.
