Just 20min from town, raft down the Kaituna River, plunge down the 7m Tutea Falls into the white-knuckle foam below, with rafts specifically designed for rafting waterfalls (1hr of adrenalin-packed fun). The Wairoa River is available every Sunday in summer, offering unsurpassed rafting adventure (Grade 5 world class rafting experience).
