Come and visit us soon for a day of discovery. Visitors Centre open 10am to 5pm daily (closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Good Friday). Educational and entertaining, and well worth a visit. Displays include a 1/33 scale model of the refinery and new 20-minute audiovisual explaining the processes and end product of oil. Also of interest are photographs, records and models of the impressive pipeline from Marsden Point to Wiri in South Auckland and the huge Gottwald crane used to lift a 760-tonne hydrocracker reactor. Free admission. When the sightseeeing is finished, you can relax at Cafe North, open Monday-Friday 6am-3pm next door to the Oil Refinery Visitor Centre, seats up to 100, ideal for corporate/private functions.
