Just a 15-minute country drive west of Taupo, though a world away from the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist town.

Hearty breakfasts, wholesome dinners and warm welcomes assure guests of an enjoyable stay. Guest accommodation is situated in the sunny north-facing wing. One queen size bedroom with large private bathroom and relaxing tub, and one twin bedroom with ensuite, along with the elegant guest lounge with sunny deck overlooking and with access to the garden. Rooms are furnished for comfort and warmth with down duvets, electric blankets, heating and summer fans. Laundry facilities, refreshments and delicious homebaking always available. Dinner is available on request $50 per person. Superb licensed restaurant nearby.

Elizabeth has a wide knowledge of the volcanic and geothermal history of the region, gained over a long career in tourism and industry. Paul is a New Zealand Kennel Club judge and golf, music, travel and dog sports are family interests. We have two friendly dogs, Sieger and Sparky. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Complimentary kayak, cot and fishing tackle available. Fly and lake charters arranged or come out with us on the family boat. Our home is smokefree.
