  • Te Aroha Mineral Pools
There are two types of thermal water at the pools - soda and mineral. The baths are open daily and it's best to book at weekends. Behind the pools is the Mokena Geyser - said to be the only soda water geyser in the world - which spouts up to 3.5m high.

  • Te Aroha Museum
Located in Te Aroha's original bathhouse building, the Te Aroha Musuem has extensive exhibits on the town's mining and agricultural history.
  • Kaimai Mamaku Forest Park
Walkers can explore old goldmining trails in this rugged park east of Te Aroha. The visitor centre has maps and track information.
