Rapaura is a 64-acre private estate nestled in the midst of the Coromandel Forest Park. A mature property, which has evolved over more that 40 years, Rapaura offers something for everyone; native trees, ferns, seasonal flora, lily ponds, meandering walks over lush green lawns, bridges and streams, garden sculptures and a relaxing bushwalk to cascading waterfalls, ‘The Seven Stairs to Heaven’.

Ideally situated as a base from which to explore the Coromandel, we offer comfortable self-catering accommodation in a boutique lodge or garden cottage. While the estate is open to the public during the hours of 9am-5pm, in the evening it becomes your private playground. Experience nature at it best, no TV, just peace and the sound of running water.
