Wairaurahiri Jet's ultimate all day Jetboating Adventure - New Zealand's ultimate jetboating experience. Enjoy an intrepeid journey into the heart of beautiful southern Fiordland. We set out across the mysterious Lake Hauroko, then enter the wild Wairaurahiri River dropping 600 feet over 27km of rock-strewn, grade three rapids in our specially built twin engined jetboat. Listen to the onboard commentary as you travel through the untouched Waitutu Forest. We pause to undertake a short guided walk through part of this enchanting forest. Where the river meets the sea you can explore the rugged southern coastline while we prepare your tasty Kiwi barbecue at the Waitutu Lodge, then back in the boat for the return journey. All day adventure - departs Clifden or Lake Hauroko guided walk and lunch included 6 hour duration. Helicopter/launch/jetboat combinations - fly and jetboat through this amazing part of the world. Tramper pick-up and drop-off - connects with South Coast and The Hump Ridge tracks. Overnight stays/accommodation - booking agent for the Waitutu Lodge. Environmental award winner. Transport
Our base is located midway between Te Anau and Invercargill on State Highway 99 (98kms from Invercargill and 86kms from Te Anau).
You Need To Bring
Your sense of adventure, a camera for the amazing scenery, a jacket and hat is good too! We provide lunch!
