Ohau Skifield
Located a 40min drive south of Twizel,
this small skifield is part of the Ohau Range and enjoys spectacular views across Lake Ohau. With its highest point at 1825m, it enjoys reliable snowfall and fine weather, and is serviced by the longest T-Bar in New Zealand. There are 125ha of skiable area and main trails are groomed regularly. The ski season runs from July until mid-October.

- Ohau Lodge – Located 9.6km from the skifield on the shores of Lake Ohau, the lodge has 75 units with central heating. Backpacker, budget, standard and luxury rooms are available.
