Ski & Board Ohau
Powder snow, sunshine, friendly people and uncrowded slopes is the combination that makes Ohau Snow Field special. Located a 40min drive south of
Twizel, Ohau is a small, friendly resort with superb views of
Mount Cook and Lake Ohau. The mountain caters for all abilities with a range of trails, glood slope conditions and great powder snow around the tops. The double chair lift enables most intermediates to enjoy the flat wide slopes at the top of the mountain.
With its highest point at 1825m, the field enjoys reliable snowfall, and the main trails are groomed regularly. There is snowmaking, a snow school, two terrain parks, a double charlift, a platter lift and a snow mat. The ski season runs from July until mid-October, and a shuttle operates to/from Ohau Lodge (20min) and the field.
