Ski Mt Lyford
Mt. Lyford's sunny Terako field, is located 26 km's from Waiau and 60 km's from Hanmer. An ideal family field, Mount Lyford ski area caters for all levels, and also offers cross-country and off-piste skiing. There is a natural pipe for snowboarding. Mt Lyford is linked via rope tow to the nearby Terako Basin, which is a great learners area with challenging runs for intermediate and advanced skiers.
