• Montana Waiheke Island Easter Jazz Festival
  Waiheke Island's annual jazz festival is held over Easter, drawing thousands of visitors and locals alike. Featuring modern and classic jazz, blues and swing, the event attracts the cream of jazz performers from New Zealand and around the world.
• Waiheke Island Wineries
  The island's warm, sunny climate and stony soils have seen more than 32 boutique vineyards spring up here, including the award-winning Stonyridge Vineyard, renowned for its excellent reds. • Stony Batter
  Set on a scenic headland with beautiful views, this large coastal battery was built in 1942 to defend Auckland against Japanese invasion. Three 23 metre guns, an underground complex of magazine rooms, gun stores and engine rooms are linked by almost a kilometre of tunnels. Take a torch and go exploring.
• Waiheke Island Adventures

• Artworks
  At the top of Oneroa Village, Artworks incorporates local arts and crafts, a courtyard café, the Waiheke Island Visitor Information Centre, an art gallery, theatre and library.
• Whittakers Musical Museum
  Located at Artworks, the museum features a collection of antique musical instruments, including an old Wurlitzer.
• Ostend Market
  A colourful weekly market selling hand-made crafts, ceramics and pottery, fruit, vegetables, food, clothing and plants. Every Saturday from 8am-1pm, Ostend War Memorial Hall.
