Wainuiomata is a suburb of
Lower Hutt and is said to have some of the best outdoor recreational areas in the region. This small village is separated from Lower Hutt by the Wainuiomata hill and lies in a secluded valley. It is just a 10 minute drive from Lower Hutt, and 30 minutes from
Wellington and is surrounded by various parks and reserves.
