Hillend Gutbuster 13th Feb 2010. 13.5km hill run/walk/hike. 890m vertical climb (1170m above sea level) Starting on the Wanaka Show Grownds, tear off up Mt. Aspirirng Rd, swing into Studholm Rd. follow the marked route onto a farm track heading south east for about 500m then following a zig zag farm track (you’ll be starting to slow a bit by now) up onto a ridge which comes out on the track that traverses the Hillend front face, ending up back at Studholm Rd. to the finish on the Show grounds again. Please respect private property- this course is only open to participants on race day (thanks very much).
