9 July, 7.30pm, Hansel and Gretel
Presented by NBR New Zealand Opera. This production of Hansel and Gretel boasts an all New Zealand cast and creative team. Director Michael Hurst and mezzo-soprano Helen Medlyn (who plays both witch and mother) are Arts Foundation Laureates. Two rising stars, soprano Ana James and mezzo-soprano Anna Pierard, play Gretel and Hansel respectively.
A Reserve: $50 adults, $ 42.50 senior/student, $25 child, $45 for groups 10+
