    A beautiful bushwalk (2hrs return) leads to these scenic falls near Whangamata. The turnoff for the Wentworth Valley Road and track is 2km south of the town, by the golf course.
  • Ocean Beach
    This 4km surf beach curves from the harbour entrance to the mouth of Otahu River. The beach is popular with surfers and has a great break by the bar at the harbour end. It also offers swimming, windsurfing, kayaking, surfcasting and fishing from the rocks.
