Mystic Sands is a true gem in Vava'u Tonga. Situated right on the beach with its own pier for pickup to go diving, whale watching, sailing or sports-fishing,you can spend your whole vacation without having to put shoes on! This is a family owned and run motel-style accommodation,so you know we will alwaysdo our best to make you welcome!!The owners, Sandra and Henk Gros are New Zealanders who have been living in Tonga for the past 16 years and arekeento help you make the most of your holiday in Vava'u.
Mystic Sands is well located, being 20 minutes drive from Vava'u airport and only 10 minutes drive from Neiafu centre. Taxis and rental cars are available.
We do not have a restaurant/bar but there is a quality restaurantjust five minutes walk along the beach. Our new waterfront Tongan thatched faleis a great place to gather with friends and also to meet other guests.
Mystic Sands has a safe swimming beach right outside your doorstep. It is mainly white sand with a coral rock shelf in parts. You can relax on your deck and watch the kids swim or play in the sand. If desired we can arrange for babysitting and local phonecards and/or phones so you can keep in touch.
