Lawn bowls are played at the Apia Bowling Club adjacent to the Hotel Kitano Tusitala, as well as at the Apia Park sporting complex.

  • Genesis Fitness Centre, Matautu-uta, 5.30am - 7.30pm
  • Health Attack, Motootua, 5am - 8pm
  • Heems Health & Fitness Centre, Vaivase-tai, 6am - 7pm
  • YMCA Samoa, Lotopa, 8am - 5pm

Golf
Located just outside Apia are The Royal Samoan Country Club, near the Fagalii domestic airstrip and the new Faleata Country Club at Tuanaimatu. On the southern side of Upolu at Sinalei Reef Resort is a nine-hole course. There is also the Penina o Samoa International 18 Hole Golf Course and Country Club at Aggies Grey’s Lagoon, Beach Resort & Spa.

Jogging
Joggers can utilise the seawall which rings Apia Harbour from Aggie Grey's Hotel to Mulinu'u. Be aware of traffic and dogs.

Kirikiti (Samoan cricket)
Samoa's national game the season starts in July, finals are held during the annual Teuila Festival in the first to second week of September.

Netball
Played from March until late May at the Apia Park sporting complex.

Rugby & league
Played in nearly all villages. An international 7-a-side tournament is played during November. Rugby League follows from July to November.

Squash 
Samoa Visitor GuideSamoa Visitor MapThe Apia Squash Courts are located near Apia Wharf and Heem's Courts are just on the outskirts of Apia. Tournaments are held throughout the year, including the Teuila Festival in September. 

Tennis
Public tennis courts are located at Apia Park. Some hotels have tennis courts for use by their guests.
