HOT TIP#
If you plan on travelling to Samoa in late July and early August you may want to check out the Samoa Swim Series.

The Samoa Swim Series attracts a lot of attention among locals, visitors and open water swimmers.

With three big swims over three days, plus a 5km and 10km open water swim as well as loads of unofficial swims, the Samoa Swim Series is a big event on Samoa’s event calendar. In addition to the three official swims there are the unofficial swims either side of the series to cater for those who arrive before the series and those who stay after the series.

Swim 1, 31 July

Falefa Falls Swim, 3.8km

A great swim that takes in two lagoons, an estuary and finishing up at the foot of the beautiful Falefa Falls.

Swim 2, 1 August

Sinalei Resort Swim, long and short distances

A popular swim in clear waters, finishing at the world class Sinalei Reef Resort. Fresh water swimming, followed by optional lunch, tour and hikes.

Swim 3, 2 August

Mulinu’u Peninsula, long and short distances

A new swim right in town at the end of the Mulinu’u Peninsula. Two organised tours follow the swim, and in the evening there will be prize giving dinner and presentations.
