Security

Transaction Security

All Jasons Travel Channels use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Encryption Technology and a Verisign Authentication Certificate to ensure the security of your order, enquiry or booking information.

These two pieces of technology both verify that the Jasons Travel Channel server is operated by Jason Travel Media Ltd (and is not being 'spoofed' by another site) and encrypts the information during transmission. This level of security is supported by Netscape (2.0 or above) or Microsoft Explorer (3.0 or above) browsers. An encryption key will be highlighted in your browser frame when this encryption technology is being used (if in doubt - check the security preferences of your browser software).

The user also has the option of printing the form out and mailing or faxing the document as an alternative to email transmission. Though the risk of encrypted email being intercepted and decoded is almost non existent (and is almost certainly safer than mailing, faxing or phoning this information), the user should understand that all Jasons New Zealand Travel Channel transaction information sent via email, mail or fax are undertaken at the risk of the user.
